Tendencia geometrizante

Trend toward geometry.
Johannes Itten, I´d had liked to study you closely if only I´d had got the opportunity to talk to you. Of course, it would had been preferable that I´d been a young man to attend your classes in the Bauhaus. Then I´d had let you introduced me into the Mazdaznan doctrine (sect coming from zoroastrism), because today, in this life, and being who I am, I never could be vegan under any circumstance. Otherwise, I would had followed you as a loyal disciple without hesitation.

Lise inadvertida

The nuclear fission consists in spltiting an atom nucleus by bombing the nucleus with neutrons, getting as result new nucleus and other subproducts (neutrons, photons…). During the process a high amount of energy is released and new chemical elements are generated (coming from the initial division), which are normally extremely radioactive.
Up in the image you can see the uranium 235 fission:
When you bomb its nucleus with a neutron you get Krypton, Barium and three neutrons.

This process was part of the “Manhattan Project” in the WWII. It pretended to carry out the first atomic bomb. The United States of America, United Kingdom and Canada participated in it.
In opposing side was Germany with its Project “Uranverein” (Uranium Club). It began a little time later of the discovery of the nuclear fission.

The discovery was in 1938. In spite of the merit of it was claimed to Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassmann, it should be also attributed to Lise Meitner, of Austrian origin and jewish. She had to flee Germany due to the nazi regime arrival when she was working in Berlin and having classes of Max Planck (he was a little misogynous given that in the beginning he only allowed her to work in the basement).

In spite of years of investigation with Otto Hahn, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to him in 1944 for the discovery of the nuclear fission. She was ignored for being a woman. Anyway she never bothered about it. She did not want anyhow recognition for the purpose of contributing in warlike bomb creation.

The chemical element 109 is named meitnerium in her honour.

no tengo porqué despertarte y molestar.
Mira en el mundo qué paz;
(Vladimir Maiakovski)

Vladimir Maiakovski and Lilia Brik, who were brilliant artists, collaborators, lovers, futurists and a thousand more things, ended their lifes with the decision to commit suicide. He at the age of 37 by a gunshot (in 1930). She at the age of 87 by means of overdoses of barbiturates (in 1978).

"Past two o'clock. You must have gone to bed.
The Milky Way streams silver through the night.
I'm in no hurry; with lightning telegrams
I have no cause to wake or trouble you.
And, as they say, the incident is closed.
Love's boat has smashed against the daily grind.
Now you and I are quits. Why bother then
to balance mutual sorrows, pains, and hurts.
Behold what quiet settles on the world.
Night wraps the sky in tribute from the stars.
In hours like these, one rises to address
the ages, history, and all creation."
(Vladimir Maiakovski)

Nikola Tesla

It would have been nice if I could walked passed around and observe him.
